I hate these short biographies; how can you sum up your life in a few, short sentences? Okay I'm Clare, but most of my friends call me Clare Bear. I've reached the wise old age of twenty and am currently studying for my English Lit degree in Canterbury, Kent. The work is really starting to pile up but I'm sure I'll be okay. I am the kind of person that seems to thrive under pressure.

I want, more than anything, to be a writer and am currently working hard on achieving that dream. I had my first poem published in an anthology this year (yay!) and I am currently turning one of my pieces into a monologue, which is going to be performed by Drama students at my Uni. I have written a few articles for newspapers, magazines and for the web. I have rather recently discovered a love for fanfiction, more specefically Harry Potter fanfiction, and so I hope LJ helps me find like minded people to trade stories with. However, there is nothing worse than badly written fanfiction, which is why I'm trying to branch out from fanfiction.net.
